After migration, will Essentials tool change the name of the SharePoint user groups to be same as the new name given to the sub-site specified by the user when configuring the migration job using Essentials tool?
Description
- After migration SPO Target site group names are showing as source site name (Even though a different name was specified by the user for Target site while configuring the migration)
- Users, groups and permissions got migrated, issue is after migration, Target SPO site group names are still showing as same source site name.
Resolution

1) Groups would be copied form source and don't depend from rename. Tool (Metalogix Essentials for Office 365) works as designed.
2) Try to rename site in SharePoint User Interface (UI), it would not rename SharePoint groups automatically.
