1. Pre-requisites for the new AppPool acoount Must be Domain User Account and account Myst register as sharepoint managed account
Sharepoint Central Administration > Security > Configure Managed Accounts > Register Managed Account
2. In SharePoint Central Administration, navigate to Security > Configure Service Account, select the Web Application Pool - ControlPoint, and then select the new account for this component. When you commit a change on this page, SharePoint will notify that an IISRESET should be performed at the next possible interval to complete the change. This action does not perform an IISRESET automatically.
Note: Run the IISReset /noforce after updating application pool to ensure all the configuration settings has been updated to access ControlPoint Web Application Correctly.
3. In the SQL environment where the xcAdmin database is located, manually map the new service account to the xcAdmin database with db_owner permissions.
