1. User mapping of disabled users works only with Azure migration applied.
2. Some content cannot be migrated with Azure as a default configuration, meaning, in spite of the fact that Azure migration API was configured to be applied for the migration, some specific content would not be migrated as a default behavior. This is based on default API behavior.
3. Since this content would be migrated via CSOM API it would not map the disabled / missing users as configured, because the feature is only available with Azure migration
4. It that specifc case the list was a grid view list
Force that content to be migrated via Azure API by following the below steps:
1. Close CM console
2. Open the file %APPDATA%\Metalogix\Content Matrix Console - SharePoint Edition\ApplicationSetting.xml
3. Add the name of the list in question to the following XML entry, separate multiple entries with a pipe symbol '|'.
4. Save and close the file.
5. Start CM , and run again the migration of question.
Note: To verify successful configuration and application of Azure migration, you should be able to note the difference in the migration logs this time, showing the change as the list would be migrated via Azure
