Cause
The Address Book Manager upgrade did not run successfully when upgrading to 8.2 -
Resolution
If the archive server is unable to connect to Exchange to validate credentials for the SuperUser are valid it may not be able to save the credentials and complete the Address Book Manager during an upgrade for Metalogix Archive Manager. To resolve this please perform the following:
Verify you can connect to the Exchange server using remote Powershell and using the SuperUser's credentials:
1. Open Powershell on the archive server logged in as the SuperUser account
Use the following commands to test the connection. When prompted enter the credentials for the SuperUser. For the second command replace EXCHANGESERVER with the name of an Exchange server in the environment.

$Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Exchange -ConnectionUri http://EXCHANGESERVER/PowerShell/ -Authentication Kerberos -Credential $UserCredential
Import-PSSession $Session -DisableNameChecking
If errors are produced, this likely indicates a problem with the prerequisites for the SuperUser account. We recommend verifying the account is in the View Only Organization Management group in Active Directory and checking documentation for other prerequisites.2. If you are able to connect to Powershell remotely Metalogix Archive Manager should be able to run the Address Book Manager upgrade. To trigger the software to run the update open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Metalogix\exchangePAM\Change IsAddressbookUpgraded to 03. Restart services for Metalogix Archive Manager using the Stop Services and Start Services batch files included with the software and listed in the Start Menu group. Alternatively you could restart the archive server.4. After services are restarted open the Metalogix Archive Manager Exchange Edition console, open the Address Book Manager, and click Sync Now on the first page to verify synchronizations are now working.If Address Book Synchronizations still produce errors stating "Index Out of Bounds" please contact support for assistance. -

If errors are still produced when trying to run Address Book Synchronizations check the logs for the Address Book Upgrade Utility in C:\Program Files (x86)\Metalogix\MAM4Exchange\Tools\AddressBookUpgradeUtil\Logs Also check the EXCHANGEPAMEXCHANGESERVERS table in the SQL database
