The Exchange Default Gathering is failing on the mailbox store part of the gathering but the servers that is it failing on do not have the mailbox role installed on them. "Failed to Open Information Store"

Cause
The 2007 Exchange System Manager (ESM) was installed on the MessageStats Server after the tasks were already there.

Resolution
Follow the steps below to fix the issue.
1. Delete the existing Default Gathering Task.
2. Create a new Default Gathering Task.
3. Right-click on the default gatheirng and choose run with override.The gathering will no longer try to gather maibox information from servers that do not have the mailbox role installed.
