Trying to run a content and attachment gathering and can't do more than one Mailbox at a time.

When trying to gather more than one Mailbox in the Mailbox Content and Attachment Gathering you will see the following error.

unexpected error occurred during the gathering of information store content and attachments. 0x80040115: Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer. MAPI_E_NETWORK_ERROR (Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store)  Low level error: 0x6.

There is a CAS Array that is disconnecting our MAPI Connections

Workaround.

1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and Right click on the Hosts file and select open with NotePad

2. Add the IP address of one of you client Access servers and then put in your Client Access Array name. Below is an exmaple of a Default Host File the last line in the file is what you would enter.

There has been an enhancement request created for MessageStats to be able to connect to a CAS Array instead of a Client Access Node. This has been logged as a feature request and is being considered for a future release. Enhancement ID TFS#211780 Quest Product Management periodically reviews all open enhancement requests and considers them for inclusion in a future product release. There is no guarantee that a specific enhancement request will be implemented in a future release of Quest's products.
