Description
When running the MessageStats tracking log gathering you may receive the error "Invalid Argument" when processing the Exchange tracking logs.

Cause
This error can occur if MessageStats did not discover the Administrative Groups for your Exchange organization.

Resolution
To resolve this issue verify the account used to enumerate the Exchange organization has permission to view all Administration Groups in the organization and regather the organization structure.
To identify the account used to enumerate the organization structure:1. Launch the MessageStats console
2. Expand Exchange Organizations
3. Right click on your Exchange Organization name
4. Click Properties
5. Click The Connection Server tabThe account used to enumerate the Exchange organization is listed in the Security Context boxTo regather the Exchange organization structure:1. Launch the MessageStats console
2. Expand Exchange Organizations
3. Right click on your Exchange Organization name
4. Click Regather Structure
