After upgrading to MessageStats 6.9 you receive an "Access Denied" error stating that you don't have permission to access the Quest MessageStats Scheduler Service.
Everything worked fine before the upgrade.
The NetBIOS name of the computer running the "Quest MessageStats Scheduler Service" is different that the Host name of that computer.
1. In the MessageStats console expand the MessageStats node and right click on your Server Name and click "Disconnect".
2. In the MessageStats console right click on the MessageStats node and click "Connect"
3. Enter the NetBios name of the "Quest MessageStats Scheduler Service" and click "Connect"
The default NetBios name is the same as the computer name but there is a limit of 15 characters for a NetBios name. If the computer name is longer that 15 characters than the NetBios name will be the first 15 characters of the computer name.
To view the NetBios name registered for your computer run the command "nbtstat -n"
