Description
OCS Reportpack gatherings fail with the following error:
"Error running stored procedure Login failed for user 'UserName'. Reason: The password of the account has expired."

Cause
When setting up the OCS report pack, SQL credentials are defined on the OCS backend SQL server, and used when connecting to the OCS Pool in MessageStats. MessageStats uses these credentials to create a linked server object on the MessageStats database server, connecting to the OCS database to query data used in the Reports. The password for the defined SQL login on the OCS backend database server has an expired password.

Resolution
Reset the Password for this logon on the OCS backend SQL server, to match what was originally defined in MessageStats.
It is also advisable to deselect the "Enforce password policy" check box on the General Page of the Login Properties dialog box for this Login, to prevent this issue from happening again.
