Tasks that use WMI are failing to complete successfully when going through a firewall.
The WMI service uses TCP port 135 to establish the communication endpoints, then starts to create connections at the lowest numbered port starting at port 1024. Over time, the port number that is used by WMI increases sequentially. The use of ports makes it difficult to allow this through a firewall.
