Opening MessageStats Web Reports gives the following error: "Error details: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {100BEE37-A2F6-48EE-8A58-FBC72DC4CF17} failed due to the following error: 8007007e"
When doing a search in the registry CLSID {100BEE37-A2F6-48EE-8A58-FBC72DC4CF17} points to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Quest Shared\Web Reports\5.1\QSWebWizard.dll however QSWebWizard.dll does not exist.
WORKAROUND:
The most efficient way to correct this problem with the least amount of administrative effort is to uninstall/reinstall MessageStats.
QSWebWizard.dll should exist in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Quest Shared\Web Reports\5.1 in order for MessageStats reports to function correctly.
This error was found in MessageStats 6.6.0. An alternative to reinstalling 6.6, would be to upgrade to the latest version of MessageStats available on SupportLink.
