Note: SQL 2012 or later AlwaysOn Availability Groups has not been officially tested by Quest. That's not to say it will not work. As long as MessageStats can make calls to its database when required that is all that matters.
If you're not having any issues with the MessageStats Console, Gathering tasks, and your reports are up to date the product should be functioning as expected.
To make a connection to SQL AlwaysOn:
1. Use the Virtual Network Name (VNN) of SQL AlwaysOn when typing in your connection string into the Database tab on the properties of the MessageStats server in the MessageStats console with the port number.
E.g
If the Virtual Network Name (VNN) is SQLALWAYSON and the port is 1435 then type in:
SQLALWAYSON,1435
2. Click OK.
