Description
LiteSpeed for SQL Server 5.1 fails on Japanese environment. Both operating system and SQL Server are on 2008. The Backup (and Restore) wizard is failing in version 5.1. The wizard will report success but no backup file is created. Similarly restore fails because no backup file is available for restore.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Run LiteSpeed for SQL Server 5.0.2 instead of 5.1.
STATUS
Waiting for a fix in a future release of LiteSpeed for SQL Server. -
