Verify stage may fail when using SQL Server authentication -
Description
When running a backup with a secondary verify stage such as:
xp_backup_database
@database='too',
@filename='too.bkp',
@verify=1where the user is logged in with SQL Server authentication. The Restore-VerifyOnly may fail with the error "Msg 49999, Level 16, State 1, Line 2883584: Failed to login to SQL Server". -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Use Windows instead of SQL authentication. This will resolve the login failure.
STATUS
Fixed in version 6.5 of LiteSpeed for SQL Server.
