The Log Shipping monitor shows that "Backup: XX minutes overdue" in (UTC +10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney Time zone.
The instance that Log Shipping is running on is in the time zone (UTC +10:00) Brisbane.
The user's PC time zone is normally (UTC +10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney. This time zone is on DST.
The console does not recognize the DST adjustment and is a product defect.
WORKAROUND
Set the console or client's time zone with that of the instance that Log Shipping is running on. So in the above example, both SQL instance server and client PC should be set to Brisbane time zone.
