Are maintenance plans in SQL Server 2005 supported by LiteSpeed ? -
Description
Using SQL Server 2005 version, does SQL LiteSpeed support these new maintenance plans ? Existing maintenance plans created in SQL Server 2005 are not listed in Litespeed Enterprise Console and therefore, may not be converted using the LiteSpeed Maintenance Plan Conversion Wizard. -
Resolution
These are not yet supported, these new plans in SQL Server 2005 are not TSQL-based but use binary files.
WORKAROUND:
To view the maintenance plans created by LiteSpeed or MS SQL Server 2000, In Microsoft SQL Server 2005's Management Studio, Maintenance Plans created by LiteSpeed or by Microsoft SQL Server 2000 can be viewed by expanding Servername | Management | Legacy | Database Maintenance Plans
