Do Maintenance Plans need to be recreate after an upgrade?

Resolution
If upgrading from version 5.x to a higher version, such as 6.0.1, the Maintenance Plans should remain intact.

Additional Information
In very few occasions, Maintenance Plans will error out after an upgrade. In these rare cases, recreating the Maintenance Plans resolved the issue.
If upgrading from version 4.x or version 5.2 or higher, the Maintenance Plans should still function. This is due to backward compatibility. However new features in the later version may not be available. In order to see the new feature, the Maintenance Plans will need to be recreated.
