How to improve the performance of Object Level Recovery?
Description
How to improve the performance of Object Level Recovery?
Cause
Restore of 1 table.
Resolution
1) Use the Optimize option during the Backup.
2) Use "Direct Mode" and "Bypass tail log processing".
3) It is recommended to have preallocated tablespace for this operation, don't use the LUN for backup and database on the same disks on NAS.
4) Restore table w/o indexes and then ALTER indexes to the table (generate DDL script with enabled option “Generate script for indexes”, take the part of the script that is related to the indexes creation only and run it in SQL server query).
Additional Information
