LiteSpeed reported successful maintenance plan even if there are failed jobs
Description

Daily backup jobs configured on the server are completing successfully without taking all database's backup. It is not projecting error for the same as well. The job is getting executed successfully however lot of databases are still not backed up.
Cause

LiteSpeed does not report non-engine errors.
Resolution

Litespeed MP does not report non-engine errors. So if the task that failed did not use the LiteSpeed engine then this is working as designed.
If the engine was used to perform the backup and the backup failed due to e.g. "out of space" then the Maintenance plan should show as failed not successful.
