By default, Litespeed uses for performing of backup n-1 threads (where n is a number of CPU cores) and 100% of a performance for each core.
It is possible to limit it:
1) During a creation of the job in Backup Wizard.
2) Edit existing job by adding the @throttle and @threads parameter to statement called for backup.
