Failed to open plan ("The schedule ID "N" is used by more than one job. Specify the job_id.")< (4250308)

The following error may appear when trying to edit a maintenance plan through Litespeed.

1. Create a maintenance plan with at least one subplan on SQL Server.
2. Go to SQL Server Management Studio, connect to SQL Server, expand SQL Server Agent, right click on Jobs, choose Manage Schedules
3. Create a new schedule
4. Create a test job and Pick the schedule you have created in step #3
5. Edit the Maintenance Plan subplan job, go to Schedules, remove default job and Pick the schedule created on step #3
6. Try to open the Maintenance Plan via LiteSpeed Console

The following error will appear:

Failed to open plan ("The schedule ID "N" is used by more than one job. Specify the job_id.")

This error will appear if the subplan job contains multiple schedules.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future release of Litespeed for SQL Server.

WORKAROUND:

1. Via SQL Server Management Studio edit the maintenance plan job: go to Schedules tab and remove multiple schedule
2. Add a new schedule (use New… button) that will be used only in this job. Make it disable. Click OK to save changes.
3. Via SSMS edit the maintenance plan job again: go to Schedules tab and pick (use Pick… button) the multiple schedule:
4. As a result, there are two schedules: single [Disabled], multiple [Enabled]
