'The key entered is invalid' when entering a new format key into a Litespeed version 8.5 and earlier -
Description
When entering a new style key into a version of Litespeed 8.5 or earlier, the message 'The key entered is invalid' shows up, and it cannot be licensed. -
Cause
The new format key has no Site Message, and only works in v8.6 and above. -
Resolution
Please raise a case with the license team here and request an older format key (one with a Site Message) to be sent to you, if you are using a version of Litespeed which is v8.5 or earlier.
