LiteSpeed Maintenance Plan will write backup file to disk location or a tape drive destination, but not directly to TSM. The GUI Backup Wizard in LiteSpeed Enterprise Console supports direct backup to TSM.
LiteSpeed does not support backups directly to TSM using LiteSpeed Maintenance Plans.
STATUS:
An enhancement request has been submitted to Development for consideration in future release of LiteSpeed for SQL Server.
