Error: "sub> SLS Error: XML returned from Engine was invalid."
Description

Error received when running a Script with over 300 or so WITH statements errors out:

"Error: sub> SLS Error: XML returned from Engine was invalid"
Cause

DOS limits the length of the command line string to 32K. After a few hundred WITH statements this 32K limit can be exceeded.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:

None.

STATUS:

This issue was fixed in LiteSpeed 4.6. The latest version of LiteSpeed for SQL Server can be downloaded at http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp.
