Description
When creating jobs from the Backup Template, the user that created the Backup Template shows as the owner of the Job. Is there any way to have the owner default to “sa” or another owner? -

Resolution
No, it is “owned” by the user who deployed it. FYI…The owner only matters when editing the plan\job not running it.
WORKAROUND: When creating the Backup Template, log in as 'sa' or the other user and the template will carry that owner forward to the job.
NOTE:
The jobs run as the login for the SQL Server Service account.
