Does LiteSpeed LogShipping support cross domains log shipping? (4218453)

Does LiteSpeed LogShipping support cross domains log shipping? Using a SQL Server password and not a domain password (or the domains would have to be trusted in the active directory).

Version 4.6.0.00293 and 4.7 of LiteSpeed Log Shipping does not support cross-domain log shipping.

WORKAROUND:

The Server may be set up with an alias. The use of a port ## is not supported (instead of an alias name).
Note: The Alias Name should be the @@Servername.   The serverName of a alias should be the IP Address

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future release of LiteSpeed.
