Error message during .msi installation includes installing users password (users login ID does not display) The users login password is displayed in the onscreen error message.
On a server with an earlier version of 4.8, using SQL Authentication for the stored procedure installation, the server is thenupgraded to 4.8.4 using the same SQL credentials, an error pops up saying:
Registration of xp_sqllitespeed_licenseinfo failed. Login failed for user <password>where <password> is the users SQL password.
Software Defect
This does not appear to be an issue with upgrading specifically, but rather an issue with the same login for all instances option in SLSInstaller. When you choose the same login option the error occurs, however if you specify each login individually the install will proceed properly.
