Description
Automated restore is not restoring the most recently created backup file. It is restoring an older backup instead.
What we want to do is to just use the normal/default in the extended stored procedure--where it just uses the most recent backup. Currently we need to add the option (hardcode) the actual restore name to force it to restore the most recently taken backup.
