Backup or replication jobs are failing with the above error.
When trying to credential a host in vRanger inventory it simply hangs with "Resolving API connection"
The proxy is the issue here.
It needs the user/service to authenticate correctly before it will be let pass.
So either the service account does not have permissions to access through the proxy or the proxy is not configured to point to local websites. (vRanger connects through Port 902)
Please do the following:
1. Login to the vRanger Server as the same user that the vRanger Service is credentialed with.
2. Go to Internet Explorer on the vRanger machine also, Tools - Internet Options - LAN settings - Untick 'Use a proxy server for your LAN'
3. Reattempt to add the host to vRanger Inventory
