How to convert a delimited text file (comma, tab, or pipe) to an Excel file.

As part of an automation process, there is a need to convert a delimited text file to an Excel file. How can this be done?

When connected to the CSV or text file, you will notice the following: 1. All CSV and text files within the same folder as the connected file display as tables in the Object Explorer. 2. All files are read according to the delimiter and column header option specified for the connected file. 3. A Schema.ini file is added to the folder. This file sets the delimiter and column header option used to read all the files in the folder. The settings correspond to the last file to which a connection was made. For example, if you create a second connection in the same folder, all files are now read according to the delimiter and column header specified for that connection.
