After upgrading to SQL Navigator 7.0, source code is generated with leading Byte Order Mark (BOM) character and unicode format. This causes packages not to be loaded via SQLPLUS. The following error can be seen in SQLPLUS:
SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "CREATE ..." - rest of line ignored.
SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "PACKAGE BO..." - rest of line ignored.
SP2-0042: unknown command "IS" - rest of line ignored.
SP2-0023: String not found.
The issue can be seen in PVCS when you compare two revisions of a package file, one created in v6.7, the other in v7.0
You can't see the byte order mark in SQL Navigator 7.0 editor.
