In version 9.0.1 and later there is a new Replication feature that allows you to configure a standby server, or to replicate the backup information (location of files, not the backup files them self) to another RMAD server.
If you configure Full Replication, you are creating a backup, standby RMAD server. The Computer Collections, Schedules and Backup information are replication from the Master to the standby server. The standby server cannot be actively used to perform backups and restores. It is designed to be a standby server only. Once the Master server is no longer available, disabling the replication on the standby would make it a fully functional RMAD server.
If you configure Backup Only Replication, the information about the backup files will be replicated to the other RMAD servers. This allows you to perform restores using any RMAD console, regardless if where the backup files reside, or which RMAD server performed the backup.
