If you try to configure a virtual client with a FQDN instead of the ip address, it will get the error 'Invalid method parameter: EditConfig method called with IP address in invalid format'
원인
The NetVault Backup 10 web interface will not allow a name to be configured in the IP address field.
해결 방안
Use the IP address to initally configure the virtual client. Once the virtual client is configured you can go into the config folder where NetVault Backup is installed and edit the vmachines.cfg file, replacing the IP address with the FQDN.
