Synchronizing the mail attribute when the target domain has no exchange organization -
설명
An on-premise to on-premise migration where the target domain does not have an exchange organization, and it is noted the mail attribute is not populated on target side. -
원인
Where an exchange organization does not exist on the target side the default behaviour is that the mail attribute will not sync. -
해결 방안
IMPORTANT: Pease note that following add-in is NOT supported by Quest Technical Support. You need to contact Custom Development team via your Quest account manager for any script modifications or any questions regarding this solution.
To force the mail attribute value to populate to a target domain without Exchange a built in custom add-in is required
1) Right click the Synchronization properties of the domain pair2) Click through the options until the Advanced Options section3) Tick box to Use Custom add-in4) Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Migration Manager\Active Directory and select SyncExchangeRelatedAttributes.xml (as in the below screenshot)
5) Click OK to accept settings6) Perform a Stop and Start on the Synchronization jobNOTE: The add-in will only synchronize the following 4 attributes

-LegacyExchangeDN
-TargetAddress -
