When using Alternate Locations with a Managed Install, the MD5 Checksum must be included as part of the process. This article explains how to use Kdeploy.exe to obtain the checksum.

Obtain the UNC path of the file to be used in the alternate location.
Open a command prompt to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\kace". (For KACE SMA version 7.2 and below use - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\kace")
Run the following command: KDeploy.exe -hash=FILENAME
