When a new profile is created, the Logging object is automatically populated by a share which may need to be cleared manually for each new profile if not in use or changed if the share is no longer available. This may cause login delays if the share is no longer available or Desktop Authority (DA) has been migrated to another server.
During the installation, a dialog box prompts for a share location to save logs. The default share is Logs$ and saves locally on the DA server, C:\Program Files (x86)\Scriptlogic Manager\Logs. If the option is not changed or cleared, each new profile that is created will include this share in the Logging object.
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Scriptlogic Manager\ and open slmgr.ini. Change the line reading "Logshare=" to a different share if Logging will be continued to be used or delete the line entirely to disable. Close and reopen the DA manager. Newly created profiles will have the new share in the Logging object or will be clear if not in use. Profiles currently with a share name will have to be changed or removed manually.
