Postinstallation tasks are duplicating (4293705)

If a Windows or Mac postinstall task is Runtime Environment value is changed from an OS task (Windows/Mac OS X) to a midlevel task (K2000 Boot Environment) or vice versa, the existing postinstall tasks in all associated deployments will duplicate. 

For example, if the 'Runtime Environment' of a postinstall task is changed from 'Windows' to 'K2000 Boot Environment (Windows)', you will see duplicated postinstallation tasks in any of the Scripted Install or Image detail pages that it is associated with. 

If left unchecked, this issue can duplicate tasks to a level that your deployment detail page may not load. 

This issue is resolved in version 3.7 and higher of the K2000 appliance.

In the meantime, the following workarounds are available:

1. Remove the task from any deployments before changing the Runtime Environment of a post-installation task. 

or

2. Rather than changing the Runtime Environment of a task, you can delete the current task and create a new task with the correct Runtime Environment
