I generated the DDL from R-E a database. Is there a way to execute the generated ddl within Toad Data Modeler?
There is no way to execute the generated ddl within Toad Data Modeler. This is outside the realm of the tool’s design.
Look in the Help section “Toad for Oracle as default Editor” . There is information how you can define any other third party application as default editor.
TDN does not know what the database client tool should be and if and how it allows calling from outside, what specific arguments etc...
The Custom Editor should be selected or if you have Default Editor matched with sql files under your system, you may select Associated Application...
