The Stat Admin should be able to go to Maintenance | Security Settings | User Maintenance | double click on the user | go to the object types access tab (should be object types restriction tab) and exclude permission list object type for a particular user. It would be nice if we can exclude certain object type for a particular user class.
WORKAROUND:
Enhancement request CR#0236328 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Stat.
