Where does MessageStats get the last logon date for mailboxes?

When viewing the mailbox inventory report some values for last logon date are blank. How does Messagestats get the information for the last logon date for mailboxes.

The "Last Logon Date" field indicates the last time the mailbox was logged on to with an authenticated account. We capture this information via MAPI. Please use the tool MFCMAPI to view the details of one of the mailboxes on the list that is showing an empty value for last logon date. When using MFCMAPI you need to access the MDB menu | Get Mailbox Table. When viewing the table you are looking for the value PR_LAST_LOGON_TIME which is the value we capture for the report.
