vRanger Catalog failing with following timeout errors in the task log:
“Catalog operation timed out and was aborted”
The cataloging operation is taking too long to complete and vRanger is forcing the catalog operation to stop.
Increase the Catalog default timeout value to larger than 10 Minutes.
Go to the following configuration file and increase the following values to larger than 10
[Program Files] Quest Software\vRanger\Service\Vizioncore.vRanger.Service.exe.config
On vRanger 7.x C:\Program Files\Dell\vRanger\Vizioncore.vRanger.Service.exe.config

<add key="CatalogBackupWaitTimeout" value="10"/>
Restart the vRanger service to implement this change.
