To install the Catalog Service after vRanger has been installed:
To Uninstall the Catalog Service
1) From the Windows control panel. Go to ‘Programs – Uninstall a program’.
2) Click on ‘vRanger Backup & Replication’ and click on ‘Change’.
3) At the vRanger & Replication Setup screen, click on ‘modify’.
4) Keep the vRanger service credentials the same.
5) At the vRanger Catalog service page, Uncheck the ‘Install vRanger Catalog Service’ and click ‘next’.
6) Click ‘Install’. This will modify the vRanger installation to exclude the cataloging service.
