After upgrading a KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) (K1000), access to the serial console may be completely lost. Without access to the serial console, if the Webui were to become inaccessible, there would be no access to the box. Due to the possible loss to serial console, this should be prioritized as a critical or urgent event if the appliance is hosted in Azure. Appliances hosted in other supported platforms should not need this hotfix.
