When it will be possible to create Intune Configuration Profiles within the GPOADmin interface?
When this issue will be resolved? "GPOADmin does not support Settings Catalog for Intune Configuration profiles."
Is there any feedback in the GPOADmin console if an already registered configuration profile was edited directly in Intune?
1) When will you be able to create Intune Configuration Profiles in GPOADmin?
Unfortunately not for the foreseeable future. There are properties that are set by Microsoft behind the scenes when these profiles are created and Microsoft has not exposed these via the Graph API. Until this is changed by Microsoft we will not be able to create configuration profiles from within GPOADmin.
2) When will GPOADmin support Settings Catalogues.
In the future, however, we cannot currently give a date. Microsoft has been actively changing how settings catalogs are accessed via the Graph API, and until these changes have been finalized by Microsoft we will not be able to support them. We are checking this regularly and when they have stabilized we will add this feature to GPOADmin.
3) Is there any feedback if a registered configuration profile is changed outside of GPOADmin.
This is a yes and no answer. We currently allow you to run manual compliance checks to check for changes to Intune policies, and additionally whenever a policy is deployed an automatic compliance check is run on that policy to check for any unauthorized changes.
We currently do not have a watcher service style automated continuous check for changes to Intune policies. This is something we are currently researching, however, it is in the technical feasibility stage so we cannot confirm that this will be possible to add in the future, and if so when this could be done. It is something we are looking into.
The enhancement ID for this ability to be considered for addition in a future version of GPOADmin is 519995
