How can i Unlock a User in DI Suite 10?
Answer:
By default, DI Suite 10 users become locked out of the user interface after 5 unsuccessful login attempts. Users then receive the following error:
Note that the number of invalid attempts before locking the user is configurable in Resource Manager under "Users" and then "Settings"
Steps:
To reset a locked user please:
1- Login to DI Suite as an administrator
2- Go to Data Catalog --> Resource Manager
3- Under the Users tab, click Users (this should be a full list of your users)
4- On the right side, select the user and click "Enable User"
5- Attempt the login again
Administrator User Locked?
If the locked user is the Administrator, this can also be reset by running the following queries on the database:
UPDATE USERS SET FAILED_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS = 0 where user_id = 'Administrator';
UPDATE USERS SET ACCOUNT_STATUS = 'E' where user_id = 'Administrator';
