1. Stop all coordinators
2. In SSMS, right click on the Change Auditor database and select Tasks>Detach.
3. Find the current location of the MDF and LDF files on the current drive. This location can be found by right-clicking on the database, selecting Properties, selecting Files, then scrolling to the right under Path.
4. Either cut the files and move them to the desired drive or location or alternatively, copy and paste them, then delete them from the source location once the transfer is complete)
5. Now, right-click on the main Databases header, and select Attach. In the Attach Databases window, clck on the Add button. t
6. Using the file picker, navigate to the new location and select the MDF for the database and click OK.
7. Click OK again. You should now see the Change Auditor databases listed in the Object Explorer.
8. Restart the coordinators.
As the database name and the instance did not change, there is no need for any further configuration changes in regards to the coordinator.
If the database name or instance did change, go to the systray on the coordinator machines (each one), right-click on the coordinator icon, select Coordinator Configuration, and enter in the new instance or database name. Click Ok and Ok again to start the coordinator.
