Active Administrator 6.x - Active Administrator Services cannot be started after upgrade
After upgrading from a previous version of Active Administrator, one or more of the Active Administrator services is hung in a “stopping” or “starting” state, or immediately stops as soon as the service is restarted or the server is rebooted.
Paths to one or more services were not correctly written during the upgrade. The service is trying to start from a path that no longer contains the executable for that service:
Use the Microsoft Registry editor to locate the patch definitions for the service executables and change the path definition to “Active Administrator 6”.
Confirm the following registry settings point to the “Active Administrator 6” path in the installation folder:
The Active Administrator Maintenance Service:
The Active Administrator Notification Service:
The Active Administrator AD Object Backup Service:
The Active Administrator Active Template Repair Service:
The Active Administrator GPO History Service:
