When opening the Active Administrator console on a Windows 2008 server, an error is received:
"Active Administrator is unable to start. Please make sure you are a member of the local administrators group for this computer and try again. Active Administrator will now close"
Application event logs on the server show an error associated with the attempt to open the Active Administrator console:
“Activation context generation failed for “C:\Program Files (x86)\ScriptLogic Corporation\Active Administrator 5\ADExplorer.dll”. Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.MFC.processorArchitecture= “x86”,publicKeyToken=fc8b3b9a1e18e3b”,type=”win32”,version=”9.0.21022.8” could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis”
Active Administrator requires the Microsoft Windows 2008 C++ 2008 32-bit redistributables
Download and install the 32-bit Windows 2008 C++ redistributable package. Microsoft makes the package available here:

Restart the Active Administrator console
