1. Either the Notes Migrator database is not a mail enabled, and is not receiving any mail from the user when they click the button
2. The inbound processing agent does not have the correct rights to process and update the person document.
See the instructions below. If the Notes Migrator is a mail in database then the inbound processing is not processing the message when the come into the database.Create a mail-in database for Notes Migrator database. Click on the Server Db Copy and Mail-In Db Doc button to create a copy of the Notes Migrator database on the Domino server and configure the Mail in Database document.
The Does Notes Migrator already exist? dialog box opens. Click Yes as you are working with a server-based copy of the database
Alternatively, if you are working with a local copy of the Notes Migrator database, then click No in the Does Notes Migrator already exist? dialog box. The Create a db copy? dialog box opens. Clicking Yes in this dialog box creates a copy of the local Notes Migrator database on the server. Once a server copy of the database is created, you can create a mail-in database for it
If you clicked Yes in the Does Notes Migrator 3.x already exist? dialog box, the Choose Database dialog box opens. Locate the Notes Migrator database in the CMT folder on the server, and then click Open
The Fullname for the mail-in db doc dialog box confirms that the mail-in database for the selected server-based Notes Migrator database does not exist and also prompts you to specify a name for the mail-in database. After specifying the name, click OK
In the Open the new mail-in doc? dialog box, click Yes to open the mail-in database.
The mail-in database document Notes Migrator 3.x opens.
To verify the creation of the mail-in database, you can also launch Domino Administrator, open the Domino server, and go to the Mail-In Databases and Resources folder under the People & Groups tab.
Double-click the document to open and review it.
Once the mail-in database is successfully created, the Server Db Copy and Mail-In Db Doc button is replaced by the Open Mail-In Db Doc button. Clicking it opens the database document for a review. Clicking the button with the X sign on it will remove all pointers to the location of the mail-in database.
Once you have mail-enabled the database, you need to run the Inbound Processing agent to view the updates. The procedure to run the agent is specified below:
Install Domino Designer on the workstation where Notes Migrator Notes database is located.
Launch Notes Migrator Notes database in Domino Designer.
Expand Shared Code and select Agents.
Select the InboundProcessing agent as shown below.
Double-click InboundProcessing to open the InboundProcessing Agent Properties. Click the Security tab.
The Administrator should be listed in the Run on behalf of section.
In the Set Runtime security level: field, select Allow Restricted Operations with full administration rights.
Once you've edited the agent, close the Properties box.
Close the Inbound Processing – Agent tab.
Save the changes.
Sign the agent by clicking the Sign button.
Note: If this agent still does not run, or was working at one point, the Domino security may have changed.
Make sure the ID that signed the agent still has rights to run the agent.
Make sure this ID is listed in the "Sign agents to run on behalf of someone else" field of the Domino NAB server document.
