Need to extract data from Siebel_Process_Info table, a graph of EAIObjMgr_enu memory usage. When we tried to create a report out of it he gets no data back. Tried to export it from metric browser, but this graph is empty.
Data is getting collected (he can see it in Siebel_process_Info table), and was already collected before he enabled log monitoring. So somehow there is a problem with the view what should show the data.
Is it possible to extract data from a table in Foglight e.g. to Excel?
If yes, then can we easily create the graph from this data.
The renderer component which is used to display data of Siebel_Process_Info table in the dashboard does not support data export. So the data cannot be extracted from the table unless we redevelop the dashboard with the advanced renderer component for table.
The backend data objects for the Siebel_Process_Info table are defined as Observation types, rather than Metric types. The chart component is designed to display the Metric values not for Observation values so that there is no data shown when trying to export them from metric browser. If the table containing the Metric values, such as SiebelServerSummary, is selected, the data will be displayed on the chart.
Out of the box views don’t include the customizer. The data browser also doesn’t allow an export. The observation type is the F4 model so drag and drop doesn’t work well either.
What we have found is that one can look at the data in the data browser and then select the rows with the cursor, copy and paste into Excel.
We have created SB-11 as an Enhancement Request for this issue.
